What is Moodle?

Moodle is an online open-source learning management system (LMS). A learning management system is a service used by instructors and schools to create and teach classes online. At Shawnee Community College, we use Moodle for our fully-online classes, our online/face-to-face hybrid classes, and as a supplement to some of our traditional, in-person classes.
