How to log in to eTutoring from Moodle
In addition to logging in to eTutoring via its website, you can also get to it from Moodle. Here's how to do it the first time in the semester:
From your Moodle Course Dashboard
A link to eTutoring can be found in the Academic Support Links block in Moodle. This block should appear on the right side of every page in Moodle, even in your classes.
The first time you click this link, eTutoring will ask you to change your password. We recommend you make this password unique, secure and memorable, however you will not be required to use it again if you access eTutoring via Moodle. Enter your new password twice on this screen and click Change Password.
Once changed successfully, you will see a confirmation page notifying you. Click Sign In to continue.
Once signed in, you should now be at the eTutoring home page. This page is divided up into several main sections. Most important for you are the:
- Today's Tutor Schedule and Tutors Online Now - where you can see a schedule a live (via Zoom) session with an academic tutor, and join active sessions currently in progress
- Writing Lab - where you can submit your writing for review by a tutor
- eQuestions - where you can post your subject-specific questions for tutors to answer
If you get an error message instead of going to the password page when you click the eTutoring link in Moodle, please contact the SCC Tutoring and Testing Center, fill out a Moodle Support Request form, or contact Moodle support.
