What is Moodle?
Moodle is an online open-source learning management system (LMS). A learning management system is a service used by instructors and schools to create and teach classes online. At Shawnee Community College, we use Moodle for our fully-online classes, our online/face-to-face hybrid classes, and as a supplement to some of our traditional, in-person classes.
Shawnee Community College's Moodle server can be accessed by logging in to mySCC.
The link to Moodle is on the mySCC homepage. Clicking on the Moodle logo in mySCC takes you to your Moodle course dashboard where you can find links to your current courses.
Moodle.org is the community of Moodle users around the world. You can find answers to most questions about Moodle in the Moodle.org forums, as well as help documents about using all the different parts of the Moodle LMS.
